The Women
Written by Clare Boothe Luce.
The Women is a unique work of theatre in that it was written by a woman about women in a time when women had fewer opportunities to work in theatre than they do today. We still have such a long way to go to achieve gender parity in this field, but one of the reasons why I selected this play was in order to give the talented young women in our department an opportunity to appear onstage.
